LEO BASSI – born in 1952 New-York. Was raised and worked in Italy. He now lives in Spain on Majorka in the house of his father. An actor, a stand-up-artist and a circus juggler. He comes from a longstanding family of circus clowns and acrobats. He began to work at 7. At 18 he became one of the best jugglers in the world. At 25 he left the circus to begin a career of a street juggler and an acrobat, a stand-up artist and cultural agitator. He is characterized as a provoker and a critic of culture and religion. He defines himself as a clown. His main interest are conflict and strife. He is an author of many shows, an actor featuring in several movies, a writer. 11 times he was arrested by the police for the break of the public order. In 2006 in Madrid Alfil Theatre a bomb was placed in his dressing-room. This terroristic attack is attributed to a group of radical fanatics, who were campaigning against his show “Revelation”.
