VALERY PODOROGA – born in 1946. A leading Russian philosopher. Head of the Sector of analytical anthropology of the Institute of Philosophy in Moscow. A professor in Russian State Humanitarian University. Worked as visiting professor in the Research center in North Carolina (USA). Read lectures and seminars on analytical anthropology in Cornell university (USA), Duke university (USA), Strasbourg university (France) and Leipzig university (Germany). Introduced a term “analytical philosophy” to designate the variedness of the conditions of analyses. In his work he covered a whole range of problems concerning analytical anthropology, history of philosophy, psychoanalyses, art and literature. Holds a degree of Doctor of philosophy.
